The bed and the Immersus mattress, especially the mattress has been a tremendous help. My Wife broke her hip and also fractured her shoulder and pelvis. The major issue is that during surgery they somehow damaged the sciatic nerve. Again the use of the bed has been wonderful and the mattress has definitely helped the recovery process.

We have used the Immersus Mattress for residents who don’t quite need an air mattress but something more than our standard mattresses. I wanted to let you know that I have passed info along to our Regional Nurse Director. Also we are going to look to purchase 20 mattresses for our rehab unit that will open this fall. In the meantime, we are using an Immersus Mattress with one of our residents who previously had an air mattress and HATED it , and would often ask to sleep in her chair.
